Wrapping up the football season by turning back the calendar

At look at how some of the PSAL grid teams spent the summer

Winter is officially arriving on Dec. 21, but if you want to get warmed up and you don’t have a fireplace close by, here’s a selection of photos from this past summer featuring some of Staten Island’s PSAL varsity teams.

In late August, trips to practices at Tottenville (complete with a picture of the drone the Pirates used to film their workout), Curtis, Susan Wagner and Petrides produced a collection of lively action scenes that will live on as the temperature drops below the freezing mark.
